Solo Decorative Burnt Wooden Sculpture
Solo is a sculpture emblematic of the village in which it is made, sculpted by hand by skilled artisan, Sutris, from homemade charcoal. Already dry wood logs are selected for size, then sliced into thin sections and charred on a homemade coal fire pit. The rest of the piece is then completely hand finished and assembled in our factory. Often the remaining ash and coals are mixed with water, paper and starch, and then compressed into briquettes which can be used again locally.
